Ahmedabad, December 17: A grand poetic function was held in the city of love, i.e. our Agra, on 12th December 2022 to release the book- ‘Kavita Prabha- Ek Muskan Zindagi Ki’ written by Dr Kavita Singh Prabha, published by INKDEW Publications.
The organizer was Sansthan Sangam Masik Patrika, Agra. The captivating event was conducted by Shri Sushil Sarit ji, a highly regarded poet and renowned writer. He has been honoured with the Sahitya Bhushan award by UP Hindi Sansthan for his immense contribution as an author to many Hindi literature books.
The guest of honour for the event was Professor Som Thakur, a respected name in Hindi literature. As a writer and a contributor to the promotion of the Hindi language in the world, he has earned renown for his tenure of more than 10 years in Mauritius and Fiji promoting the Hindi language is really commendable.
Smt. Priti Anand Asthana, a poet of great repute, was the chief guest. Dr.Mili Maurya also graced the occasion with her august presence.
The event started by lighting an auspicious lamp and paying respect to the goddess Saraswati. Smt Rama Verma Shyam presented Saraswati Vandana in her melodious voice.
Smt Rajkumari Chauhan read the welcome address in poetic style and praised the work of Dr Kavita Singh Prabha.
Dr Kavita Singh Prabha oozed her emotions about her journey into the world of poetry. She dedicated her achievements to her mother, Smt Prabha. Her mother encouraged her to write and venture into the word of poetry. Dr Kavita Singh Prabha then lilted poems from her book for the audience.
Dr Ashok Ashru and Shri Durg Vijay Singh Deep presented their book reviews. They tendered their words of encouragement and blessed Dr Kavita Singh Prabha to continue good work in the field of Hindi poetry.
The eminent and also budding poets then enthralled the audience with their poems.
The evening culminated with a vote of thanks by another great Hindi laureate, Sri Prem Singh Rajawat. He congratulated Dr Kavita Singh Prabha and thanked the dignitaries and everyone who made the event a great success with their presence.
Dr. Kavita Singh Prabha’s academic qualifications swell with pride, including M.Sc, M.Phil, PhD and B.Ed. She is an educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience. She loves to indite poems, ghazals, songs, raps, plays and Nukkad Natak. She is passionate about Hindi and very keenly promotes this exquisite language.
She has a great interest in Hindi theatre, enjoys directing plays, and choreographed dance dramas for young children. Her poems and articles have been published in many anthologies and magazines. She has received many awards and appreciation for her work.
She also has two youtube channels through which she publishes her poems and writings and promotes the Hindi language. She has contributed to thirteen Hindi anthologies. For her immense contribution towards the promotion of the Hindi Language and literature, she has been honoured with the title of ‘Sahitya Shree’ by the Honourable Speaker of Lok Sabha, Sri Om Krishna Birla.
She has presented her poetry on various national and international forums. To her credit, she has also conducted the program hosted by Air Force Station Raja Sansi Amritsar on the occasion of India’s Amrit Mahotsav at Jallianwala Bagh.
